Lloyd Engineering was established by Matt Lloyd in 1998. Based in rural Herefordshire, we initially specialised in the design and manufacture of agricultural equipment, predominantly apple and potato machinery for local farmers.
Our engineering capability and facilities enabled us to meet the needs of other local businesses and we diversified into water well drilling and geothermal equipment. We currently work with two major UK based drilling and machinery supply companies in this sector, providing engineering support and projects as well as machinery.
In 2002, we added screening equipment to our range. This came about from a building project at our own site which required reclaimed material to be screened and, from researching what was available on the market at the time, we decided to design and create our own screening system. This side of the business has gone from strength to strength and we now produce a wide range of screening equipment for various applications.
